July 2, 22: Routine, Crashing, Broken Streak, TV, and Games

Crashed out last night around eight thirty or so, usual time, but the snoring got me up at two. 😭 I moved out to the couch in the living room and tried to get back to sleep, but by that point I was just up. Tack on another three hours short on sleep and I felt it big time the whole day.

Sat down in the basement smoking like a chimney by myself the whole night and then there was the whole day ahead. Did all the usual morning routine and there’s not too much interesting to note there.

Worked on my post for the day and got it published and shared. Now that I think about it, I didn’t actually finish it properly because it got past ten. I meant to finish it out after I got it shared, but I got distracted and never did.

I suppose I can’t say the entire day was a bust, I did spend quite a bit of time working on the Mythix Discord, but that’s more looking ahead. I got the “community” set up with events and rules, created some more channel categories, created and organized some new channels, created some roles, got LoFi and Banjo bots going…It’s definitely more organized and built out now; looks a little more professional. I’m sure it will continue to develop over time.

Got a sandwich for lunch and then hit the wall hard. Crashed out for about an hour or two. Took me a minute to get up, but didn’t feel too terrible. Had some shower time 😉 and that was about it for the day.

Dinked a bit more with the Discord server and then set up a Facebook page as well, so I’ve got Facebook, Twitter, Discord, and Hive going…starting to build up and have a presence.

Still trying to work out whether to switch entirely to websockets or try and use it as an added layer…I suppose building it in anyway opens the possibility for chats and stuff like in the guild area of Splinterlands. 🤔

We watched a new show for a while: The Neighbors, where there’s a human family that’s moved in to a community of aliens. Worth a chuckle or two so far, but I collapsed pretty early again tonight and totally broke my step streak again already. 🤬

[I’m a little short on my word count, and it’s not quite ten yet, but we’re looking to head in to do the grocery shopping, so gonna’ post it early, as is.]

Well, General Crime is one of the more shitty things about dShitty, but I guess I’m happy that I have enough income for it to have an effect. 😛

Just a one mission day on Rising Star as usual today. Got some more drunks now, and I assume my Ego is at least one percent underneath those, but for now I stuck with the mission.

Dead smack in the middle of playing the waiting game on HashKings which also means (since there’s three days left) that the plants revert back to the first day’s growth state…seems like evidence of a complete lack of development on the mobile site. Makes me wonder where all that DHF money is going (electric bills and groceries probably).

It wasn’t for completely forgetting about it, I did go in a couple times on Splinterlands today, but no motivation to play yet again.

As I had suspected, the rewards from yesterday’s focus suuuuuucked:

I got the rewards from last brawl and was only like thirty merits short of two Gladiator packs. 😭 I did have enough for one, though, and it was quite good! Got a Legendary and a gold foil:

Only about three weeks left of the SPS drop. Took a hard hit after last season’s rewards were distributed…lost nearly five per day. 🤬 I’ve also not really been keeping up with earning any DEC with playing which doesn’t help either. Anyway, staked it for today and, though I seriously considered it, I didn’t move any more vouchers out. Still looking at like .9 HIVE, not gonna’ do it.

Nope, no Wordles again today.
