Slept from eight to five last night, which is awesome! And, despite struggling with the snoring, I only ended about twenty minutes short in actual sleep. I dragged, and dragged hard, but I was able to power through the day and accomplished at least some of the things on my ToDo list.

Not much to note regarding the usual morning routine. Cryptos trading sideways more or less with a bit of a pullback as a result of the higher than expected CPI number. We held fairly well, though, and only gave back a few percent. Checked on my DeFi and am still looking healthy, even though I’m down against ETH. Otherwise, not much change and so I left it be.

I really, honestly, earnestly worked on cleaning up my H-E wallets and getting everything staked for the Solairitas Update. I spent quite a lot of time, like seriously. Even so, had to get my post done, and get errands done, and there was #PYPT, and as usual, I got too far behind with everything.

Got my post done for the day, but decided to try and get on with stuff instead of waiting around for brofund to post. Set myself an alarm and then figured it best, since I was already going to be on an errand run, to pay the water bill and the township taxes 😡. So, got those checks written (they’re the only reason we even have checks, friggin’ stone age government) and everything sorted, hit the bank, paid the bills, then headed in to the smoke store and the puffity-puff store.

The alarm went off about halfway through the drive, and I was naughty and played with my phone when I shouldn’t have been. But, without any incident, I got my post posted and then finished up with the rest of what I had to do.

In my head I had planned to go and be back before the time I needed to post, but obviously that didn’t work out quite that way. I grabbed a quick sandwich for lunch after I got back, looked at the amount of work left to do for the Solairitas post (hadn’t even finished getting the wallet in shape, let alone started writing), and got fed up with myself again and gave up.

Even though I started to drag wicked hard and was sooo tempted just to lay down, I decided to go over to PYPT anyway. I didn’t present or anything, but listened in and joined the conversation a couple times…better than sleeping away the time, I suppose, and then I got the computer going to get to work on the website.

Ultimately, though, I got embroiled in anxiety and frustration with the Hive docs again and didn’t have a clear picture of how to attack the next step. Took me a while, but I think I have a fairly reasonable plan to troubleshoot step-by-step before I try and fire a Hive call and it fails and I get all frustrated not knowing what the problem was (I can already see it happen).

I was a bit aggravated with myself for not being able to get myself to focus, and once again was tempted just to lay down, but I decided to continue to fight it in the hope of going to bed at a normal time and sleeping through. To that end, I played some Oculus.

You can guess, from my lack of motivation, that it wasn’t going to be Thrill of the Fight or Beat Saber…utterly out of the question. I wasn’t going to try and push it with UltraWings either. So, good ol’ fallback is Puzzling Places.

I started working on the four hundred piece version of the one I worked on the other day. I’m only about quarter of the way complete and, man, that gets hard when the pieces are that small! I got all the edges put together to define the extent and started building my way toward the interior, but it’s rough with like a town full of houses that all basically look the same, not to mention random bits of foliage that could go basically anywhere and are essentially indistinguishable.

I guess that was pretty much it. Got the garbage out, ran errands, paid bills, attended PYPT, and played…yup, sums it up.

When Wenche got home she made us pasta and meat sauce for dinner and we watched a rando Australian show that was only kind of entertaining. Wasn’t really paying that much attention anyway since I was trying to get my Splinterlands quest(s) done.

I had a ton of steps left when I started getting ready for bed and I did do some cheating to finish. Kept the streak going, but I can’t help but think about how long it’s been since I’ve been out for a proper walk…was a long time there were it wasn’t a question of “if,” but “how far.” Need to get back into the habit.

Honestly. I mean, like, seriously?! 0.01/200 is shittiness to perfection. Combine a sustained stated dShitty income of only one SIM and then throw General Crime and a crisis on top for good measure, just to make sure you know the boot is stomping on your face.

Best as I can recall, I only remembered to go in on Rising Star twice today, so two missions and that was it. Still haven’t decided to withdraw yet, but I do have a bit more liquid funds now to try and match the Starbits with PIZZA, but so far been too lazy to work out the math. At least the drunks have gone and my Ego is down to zero again. 👍

I already missed one day’s quest on Splinterlands and was still struggling to get the one outstanding done in order to reset at an earlier time than it has been, but finally got the old one done and started into today’s.

I did actually do a bit better today and instead of simply making back the ranking that I lost, I got a little forward momentum. It ended up getting late, though, and I lost the desire to keep going…figured I’d finish it before I started my post this morning, but you know how that kind of plan goes.

Got the Sneak quest done still in Gold I. Not too much to speak of in the way of rewards for today, a few cards for upgrade fodder:

Apparently, the reason for the spike in the price of vouchers was the announcement (I guess I missed) that they would be used to buy a new, special edition card! 😮 I sold some into the rally, but still have ten waiting there, although a new use case does give me pause to consider moving it back…

Otherwise, staked my drop and moved the DEC that’s come in from drips and pools and stuff in game to try and rebuild my SPS drop back to where it was. I guess staked SPS is also going to be required for the special card, so I’m a little pleased with myself that I’ve been building that up rather than just selling them off.
