Up super early again this morning. Four thirty on a Sunday just shouldn’t exist. Still, during my regular routine, I was pleased to find that the bull run in HIVE has continued! 😃 I haven’t made any moves with my powered down funds, thinking I might just sell over to bitcoin and wait for the halvening.
Started playing around a bit more with dCity. Went over on hive-engine and bought some SIM and bought a Luxury Home and a Zoo in the internal marketplace. I’m still learning, and there doesn’t seem to be too much to do other than buy cards, but it might at least be less frustrating than Splinterlands.
Got out just about sunrise and picked up the Lady from Mom’s house. Headed out to the woods for our weekly hike and decided to go the opposite direction again this time (fewer hills 😛).
Not too bad out. The gloves came off right away, but the air was still a bit crisp and there wasn’t much sun, so the hat stayed on till nearly the end.
We didn’t get rained on or anything, but the path was kind of muddy from the rain we’ve been having.
The wildflowers are starting to come out! 😁 I thought those purple ones were just violets, but they look like some kind of orchid. 😯
I know there’s a blazing summer Sun somewhere there, but the clouds ain’t havin’ it. 😡

Doggies had fun running off leash. Dude decided to be an asshole for a minute, and without warning started running back the way we came. We had to run after him for a while and he was put on the leash for the rest of that half of the walk.
We got our #AutomaticWin done, no problem, and then picked up a couple rental movies and took Lady back home.
Was nice that we’d already done the grocery shopping, so we were able to just relax and watch the movies. We watched Dolittle first, which I give two eyes open. Definitely a quality family movie and Robert Downey Jr. did an amazing job.
We made homemade pizza for dinner and watched MIB: International. I give it one and a half eyes open, it loses half an eye because of the multiple, blantant, feminist plugs. Otherwise, though, it was fun and the graphics were good. Kept me awake anyway.

I even got a lucky pairing with a noob and busted up into the eighties. I have a feeling completing the arena task is going to get difficult again.
I had Earth splinter for my Splinterlands quest today. I probably could have completed it earlier, but I really wanted to get up into Diamond I today. After a nice run up and a couple set backs, I did it! 🤩
Heck yeah! Now I have to defend my position for a couple of days until the reset.

I did get an orb, which was nice, but not too good cards there either. At least I get one more day to do a quest in Diamond I.
