Couldn't sleep again so I decided to get this up early even though it's late! The following are a few photos that I took three weeks ago today. Time just gets away from me and I know I could've probably posted them a day or two after a Sunday, I just figured I would wait till the next Sunday and .. well .. here we are! Anyway, these are just a few photos that I took on that day.
I filled the bird feeders and some House Sparrows were enjoying the safflower seeds and sunshine.

I added a third feeder with thistle seed. I've since taken down the yellow feeder and moved the one with the thistle seed over a spot.

These Starlings were hanging out in the Black Walnut tree across the street. They don't care for safflower seed at all. They will fly onto the porch though to try to steal some of the dry cat food that the outside cats didn't finish.

The last of the Lantana flowers were dying off.

This Hosta flower decided to show up extremely late. It was definitely the last one standing!

The Maple tree still has a few colorful leaves on it still.

Sometimes I like to take photos of a big Pine tree that is just up the street a little. There are a lot of pine cones on it and the ones at the top are most noticeable.

While I was taking photos of the pine cones I noticed something in another neighbor's tree. It is a huge wasp nest. Yikes! They are not fun but once it gets colder out it might be a good time to get it down. Their nest is very fascinating looking though.

This is my last photo today (three weeks ago). For anyone that could use a smile .. I know I really needed it and I couldn't help but smile back! 馃檪
