I'll be showing you some photos today of my recent visit to the Little Gunpowder Falls Central Area at Historic Jerusalem Mills. My photos were taken on the Little Gunpowder Trail (white blaze). This trail is on the Harford County, Maryland side and it is the first time that I've been on this trail.
My photos today will focus on the boulders and, of course, the water where many of the boulders are found.
Although, there were a few very nice boulders along the trail as well.
Including some beauties by this nice wooden bridge.
Two different side views from the bridge.
Autumn is beginning to make an appearance!
I have to tell you that the day that we (husband and I) went was perfect. It was early morning, not too hot and a nice subtle breeze. As we walked along the water, the sun rose more in the sky and shined down upon the water of the Little Gunpowder Falls. The water had the most beautiful glistening look to it. My photos just don't do it justice. As I stood there and saw such beauty I thought "I'm really going to miss this". I don't know why or maybe I do but I've been having that same thought come into my mind a few times lately.
Makes no sense as I know there are even more beautiful views that I will, hopefully, see one day when I'm no longer here. Just a silly thought that sometimes goes through my mind I guess.
I'll, probably, have that thought again too when I can get out to see some more Autumn colors soon. There really is nothing to miss when I think about it. I didn't miss seeing that moment of the sun lighting up the Falls and I will, most likely, see more places that are just as if not more beautiful than this was as well.
Yep! That is what I believe! 馃檪
