The dead internet theory is a theory which states the once alive and bustling web is long gone and has been replaced with AI, everything on this modern minimal web just seems to be copies of each other and there is nothing really unique anymore, it is said that since everything is now catered to you with a combination of data collection and advertising you never get to explore the web and the once fun hobby of "internet surfing" seems boring and repetitive.
