Inflation and Renting Prices

Inflation came in lower than last month, but not lower than expected.

So this is net negative news. Rents are still rising.
June: 9.1%
July: 8.5%
August: 8.3%

We won't see a meaningful fall in CPI until rents start coming down as well.
