A recitation of poem ‘Aami Ki Rokom Bhabe Beche Aasi’ by Sunil Gangopadhyay

Sunil Gangopadhyay was born on 7 September 1947 in Faridpur district of Bangladesh and died on 23 October 2012 in Kolkata. He is one of my favourite poets. He was not only a poet but also a writer. He has many popular poems and literature. Today I have tried to recite a poem from his creations. The name of the poem is ‘Aami Ki Rokom Bhabe Beche Aasi’. The is a different type of poem. In the whole poem the poet was talking with a imaginary person called Nikhilesh. He was explaining his inner feelings. There is a lot of metaphorical meaning in this poem. Hope you will enjoy the recitation.
