Welcome Everyone! Today marks another day and I thought of making a follow-up post about psychic abilities since the last post got some attention, so lets dive right into the deep!
Generally speaking psychic abilities are very much related to connection to a higher "power" so to speak as discussed in the previous post, that is actually the basis typically and we can see that pattern unfold throughout many cultures. Love and connection are closely related and when we hear about divine-related people doing miracles and achieving the impossible, they often come from Love. It is not about being week but rather being one.
As Our Beloved Actor once said, "True Humility is not about thinking less of yourself but rather thinking of yourself less"-Keanu Reeves.
The qualities of Love and compassion are to not be underestimated as such.
If there is no lack for something then that something manifests into reality and so when we feel the need to control, the control is not what we need and control is what we start to manifest lacking of. Therefore Love gives us the feeling of not needing anything (in the sense of not lacking anything) and therefore our brain and mind start to steer the wheel towards fulfilling needs without even realizing that it is happening.
Essentially, Control is not lacking and control exists without "control" being a necessity.
Some Known Psychic Abilities: Remote Viewing, Psychokinesis (Psychic Influence), Telepathy (Mind Synchronization), Psychometry, Dowsing and many others.
Things to note, psychic abilities all have the aforementioned component of "connection" in common, in fact that is the basis for any psychic functioning.
It makes sense because if you are "disconnected" from something, you cannot affect it, if you are connected... you can (in theory) affect it.
but the focus of esoterism is not to obtain psychic abilities, they are but the side-effect of a process, the specifics of the process may differ from person to person since many of us are programmed differently by our society and surroundings but the point remains more or less the same.
I was curious once and yes I decided to look for People with real psychic abilities from an old national show which showcased a martial arts master demonstrating with his students some interesting stuff, which by the way were nothing compared to what I found later... as said in my past post, for me psychic phenomena are interesting because of the implications and possibilities, the potential can benefit us from the macro to the micro level, so as I was looking for that master, I found him online (he may prefer to remain anonymous for now but I have shown his videos to people I know), I talked to him in social media and scheduled a meeting, he demonstrated when I arrived telecanesis (haha, yes! moved a can in a controlled way),
he could change his field intensity and demonstrating it using an EMF measuring device as well as being able to discharge a tiny bolt of electricity from the center of his palm to my own.
That was interesting but as always I remain a bit open-minded skeptical, from what I heard from his videos, he knows what he is doing but he was asking for a sum of money that at the time I couldnt afford, when I asked them how long the lessons would take he said "as long as it takes for you to do it",
well his personality was cold-steady and at the same time perhaps a bit arrogant (perhaps... that was the vibe) so that of course made me skeptical and unsure, but then again... I was only curious and was gathering as much information as possible, because why not.
Generally I take it with a grain of salt while at the same time not completely discarding anything I get, it is an experience after all to process with both rationale and creativity at once.
Indeed the experience was uneasy but I noticed a lot of small but precious details.
For instance, just because someone can use psychic abilities it doesn't mean they are any close to being "Divine"... HOWEVER they ARE closer than the average citizen, something to keep in mind, that teacher was not able to immediately get into psychokinesis mode but he COULD do it faster than others (controlling his Mindstate, instructing the body to do specific things and so on), he could go from arrogance to humility in seconds perhaps, thats one thing interesting to keep from that story and perhaps more thoughts about it in the future.
