When I was a teenager I was rather into programming games than playing them. Only later, when giving classes to teenager I got to know video gaming as an ability that I had missed out to learn: I started to play a few video games just for the sake of interest in the cognitive abilities required. Plus: I couldn't accept the fact that I was teaching those kids abilities like focus, analysis, consistancy, memory etc. but watching them play a video game I didn't even get close to get a grip what was going on highspeed in a virtual 3D-world. Since I loved challenging my students finally this was a challenge I had to accept: I invested some time in learning to move and act in a 3D-virtual environment of some 3D-1st-Person Shooter game, and I was totally lost. I was astounded and had to laugh about myself, then being 27 years old, I was already an old guy?
Geez, no way: I pulled myself together and practiced, and: got results and proudly managed to play several levels of Unreal Tournament and found myself learning to faster orient myself in high speed in a very fast changing virtual environment. This ability, even when doing sports or biking like a crazyman between cars and trucks in dangerous moves through town, had never been needed and after first thinking: heck - I can't do it I soon realized, well: I can learn it. Hours of high concentration not moving physically had its price though: exhaustion yet combined with a certain disability to sleep and of course eye fatigue. I can understand this things today better than in those days, but I know I could have managed those challenges better if I had known more about some natural nootropics that would have helped to regenerate better when having to go back to what waited for me outside the virtual realm in the "real world".
So today, I want to present some simple nutrients and supplements that help very much maintain or even improve improve mental and visual abilities while having a better sleep.
If you add some of these supplements to your life you will most probably experience improvement of your energetic levels, mental and visual powers and less fatigue or brain fog after intense gaming phases. You'll consume less coffee and less harmful energy drinks, while these good habits may also help you sleep better and be more focused and calm at your studies or at work.
