Do you ever feel that your life is too cluttered? Does the clutter swamp you so you never do anything about it?
Here are some ideas that might help you. They are quick and easy to carry out. Allow yourself 20 minutes to do a task then celebrate how you have made your life simpler!
Take a box in your kitchen. Put in it any china, glasses, cooking dishes, pans and cutlery you haven't used for a year. Label the box with the date then keep it for a month. If you need anything in it during that month, get the item out again. After a month take the remaining item to the charity shop. Doesn't that make you feel good?
Clear out a cupboard in the kitchen. Throw away anything out of date. Look at all that space you freed up!
Do the same as above in your fridge. Reorganise it too while you are there. Make it easy to rotate the contents by use-by date.
Unsubscribe to any emails that you don't want. There's an unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page on most of them. It's a pleasure to open an uncluttered inbox!
Clear any items that don't belong in your car and put them away. Where did they all come from anyway?
Phew, the clutter is going! Remember to just do 20 minutes uncluttering at a time.
Promise yourself not to let it mount up again :)
