Test rode the Harley-Davidson Street Rod today. This is basically a Street 750 who wished it was a Night Rod. Nothing wrong there. But the problem is the riding posture. For a 6 footer like me it's highly impractical and extremely uncomfortable.
The thing is when you have a straight handlebar which you need to lean forward to grab, your feet either need to be ahead of you (hanging position) or behind you (crotch rocket position). The Street Rod is neither. You lean forward but your feet stay right under you. Couple that with a low seat height and high foot pegs, you end up with a position not very different than the one you find yourself in when using an Indian toilet. 馃槵
