This morning, while I was looking for a urbanism project made about four years ago I found this project and I still kind of like it.
That same year, when I was on my third year of Architecture studies, we had a task to make a conceptual solution for a Student Exhibition Pavilion in 4 hours and then present it to the 100 people group. The pavilion should be easy made and light.
I guess I would do it different now with different materials and textures but what I really like is the game between shapes and shade but also how seems like a tunnel when you look at its profile and still remains light and open.
If you put it in south-north direction the paintings will be all the time in shadow but surrounded with light on both sides.
The game is more complete when you look at the floor and see that with the exhibition frames it makes polygonal surface wrapped around the space.
When I look at old projects I usually don't like them at all but recently I realized that is very important to see good things in your old work too, in order to improve those skills and get better.
Hope you like my posts. Have a nice Friday! :)
