So, @themarkymark, even when other ways forward are suggested, you wish to persist in this manner ... so be it. We have now heard your story and your justifications on why, and why you think you have little choice but to do this thing that is damaging to retention and onboarding. So be it. You have a right to your position. You have a right to all the consequences of that decision. Since the majority of Hivers will not see your post, you have a right to be remembered far and wide as a bad guy in the face of other alternatives. You are choosing to continue that, Mark. Understand that I and others know that ... and for every person you discourage from being here, posturing as if the thousand DVs you avoided people getting in the past has a bearing on those who know and care nothing about any of that ESPECIALLY among the New Hivers, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE, Mark. You will not duck that or dodge that, because people engaged with and pointed out other ways to resolve this. @xeldal is upvoting good non-spam content. Everybody sees that. You are voting it down. Everybody sees that.

On my posts since January -- a seven-day rolling, original multi-talented creator the likes of which Hive has FEW -- you have left a record of DVs on non-spam now approaching five months long. Nobody I'm trying to onboard cares about any of your reasons. They just see that they won't be able to grow here as much as they could because someone is INTENT on taking rewards away. That's going to be Hive's loss, Mark. That's on you, not me. I'm not going to be pointing people to your side of the story. I'm going to confirm that people's eyes are seeing EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE SEEING when I am asked about it; that we have a whale who makes it his business to attempt to fight abuse by DVing NON-SPAM just because another whale he has a long argument with voted it up. Your name will be on that as long as the blockchain lasts, Mark. Your choice. You have a right to it. You have a right to that consequence.

Next up, Mark -- I say publicly for the third time, specifically in the hearing of @dreemsteem, @acidyo, and @kencode -- I will be tracking the percentage of your DVs over or under @xeldal's upvotes, and I will publish that in a post. I will consider two weeks of data, since you have given me five months to work with -- one BEFORE I caught your DV 12 percent over on that comment of mine, and one for this week, afterward. Now, today is Wednesday, and I have no post published yet today ... you COULD spoil my data pull for the rest of the week by leaving me alone ... as I say, you always have a choice, Mark.
