In modern times like today there are still people who live alone secluded away from the hustle of the city. One of them is in Jumpai village, Klungkung regency, Bali. Coexist with the sea makes his imagination to build his dream stone house. He made houses from natural stones and debris from damaged buildings. When I interviewed him, he told me he began to make a foundation little by little until the house was completed in about 3 years. And he has lived there for about 8 years now. When I asked what his name was, he just said his name Mr. Kantor. To cook, Mr. Kantor collects dried wood for burning. And every day he works to find small black stones on the coast, to be sold to stone brokers who usually come to the village once a week. While the large stone he found, he brought home to be used to build his house. At night he does not use electricity only a flashlight for lighting. If for bathing and washing he does it multiplied in front of his stone house. Very natural, yes, nowadays, we can still live side by side with nature. He also planted several trees in his home garden for gardening. Very cool and shady when I visited his house.
