Hello, how are you all hive friends?
Hopefully all hive friends are fine, and always given blessings in this life π
This is the 121st post since I joined the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands.
Here I draw the Sea Monster character from the Splinterlands Sea Monster card game.
I chose this character because the character depicts the legend of sea monsters, such as kraken and locness, So I draw fanart of this character in the sea by coiling in the depths of the sea which makes it very scary for sailors and divers in the ocean.
This character is quite scary with a long dragon shape and a scary face with sharp and large teeth in its mouth.
Drawing this Splinterlands character makes me happy in playing with interesting color combinations from just blue and green and varying them is very exciting.
And I'm quite happy to participate and draw Splinterlands characters to practice my illustration drawing skills.
But overall it's always fun to make Splinterlands fanart, because there are so many characters that can be made into fanartππ.
For coloring, using a full-color American comic style with a little semi-realism.
To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art with texture.
This time I don't have a target, because participating in the character drawing competition is already really cool in my opinion. And with the new rules, I also don't seem to be included in the criteria on the leaderboard ha.ha.ha.
And congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners π₯°ππΊππππ₯³
Also thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported me in my work so far.
This work took me 6 hours with 2 hours of line sketching and 4 hours of coloring and effects.
