You may have read the latest post from LeoFinance explaining fake content or ghost comments. I wanted to dive a it deeper and elaborate what are these ghost comments and how things work.

First of all, you need to understand, fake content as making it clear by LeoFinance in their post they don't mean by it as something like the false information or stories created to deliberately misinform or deceive readers.

By Fake content they meant Ghost Comments, a random name made up by LeoFinance for a new feature on the LeoFinance Alpha UI https://alpha.leofinance.io. in their post.

Ghost Comments on LeoFinance Alpha UI

It may feel a bit annoying posting your content on Leothreads and you are not able to see it right away with no delays while other users ain't able to interact.

This is where the feature of Ghost Commenting come into play. They want to make sure users don't get frustrated experiencing a delay in their threads to show up.

With the feature of Ghost comments LeoFinance Alpha UI https://alpha.leofinance.io, when a users publish a thread or comment under a post, the UI shows you a a Ghost or a Fake comment.

This allows the UI to show your content instantly but it is waiting in the backend to get indexed on the blockchain.

Once your content is indexed, you will see the real version of it.

Content When Indexed

When your content is indexed on the blockchain, this allows users to discover and view what is available.

Indexing is important as it allows the search engines to crawl and find content on a website. In other words, its good for SEO and website ranking.

Hope that may have helped.

Thanks
