El Salvador, with the population of more than 6.5 million has sparked intense debates on its entry into the world of Bitcoin igniting skepticism and excitement. By embracing the decentralized nature of #Bitcoin, El Salvador seeks to revolutionize its economy, improve financial inclusion and unchain innovations thay could redfine world financial systems.

El Salvador is looking to build one of the largest Bitcoin mining farms worth $1 billion in the world in a public private partnership.

The group known as Volcano Energy announced on Monday that it will invest $1 billion in building this innovative facility.

This announcement reflects El Salvador's commitment of embracing the digital currency and utilising renewable energy for the money-making, power-guzzling operation of Bitcoin mining.

The project, by using clean energy sources, seeks to mitigate concerns about the environmental impact that is traditionally associated to Bitcoin mining.

This commitment to sustainability from Volcano Energy is aligned to the broader vision of El Salvador becoming a global leader in green Bitcoin mining.
