There's only a day or so left on this auction for this magazine. The last one sold for $68, and we'll see how this does. I'd be elated to get half that.

This issue is from 1999, and has interviews with KAWS and Shepard Fairey before either was huge and known in the mainstream.

Epilogue

I screwed up this sale. Instead of having patience, and waiting for a light "goo gone" stain to fade, I listed the book in a hurry. My photos were not good. The cover had this oil stain from sticker-remover, and I think I timed the auction wrong.

The upshot was that the magazine sold, for a profit, but not as much as I'd hoped. I don't remember the total, but the number 18 keeps coming to mind. I hope it was closer to $50. Anyway, it wasn't up in the $80s like other copies of this book.

Another thing I realized was that I was carrying over some 1990s attitude and aesthetics to my listing. It was plain, and plain spoken. I didn't want to make it sound sophisticated and "art world." That was to my detriment, because that snooty language and attitude is what sells Fine Art.
