I found something interesting about the actifit app. I don't know if it's a bug or a feature and if it affects both Android and iOS (I'm on Android).
It seems that the app wants to be "in focus" (opened) to work properly.
As you open other apps and push the actifit down, it stops counting after a while and you need to close it and open it so it can start working again.
I'll need to investigate more.
