‎There was a time I needed to be somewhere, it happened that mum helped me pack a few stuff, I was busy with something so I couldn't pack all I needed. While packing, mum asked if I needed a particular thing, I said no, but she insisted, telling me I would need it. To me, I didn't think it was really relevant, but since she insisted , I consented. So, she included the 'thing' in the bag. I left, and when I got to where I was going, I found out that I needed that thing more than any other thing at that time. It was really necessary, and I was glad she made me carry it. I called and thanked her, her response was 'I'm your mother, I knew you'd need it (note the word need, not want).
‎
‎Now to the more reason I told the story. Sometimes , we want to out do God. We want to do it on our own, we want to force things, we pay more attention to things we don't need at a particular point in our lives, then reject or decline the things we really need, ignorantly or consciously.
‎
‎The thing is, if our earthly parents know us that much, what makes us think that the one who created us knows us less ?
‎Even before we were formed He knew us, and He hasn't created anyone without a purpose or direction... no! Not one.
‎
‎There's time and season for everything, do/focus on what's necessary at a particular time in your life. and never forget that your maker would most likely give you what you need not what you want.
