For this weeks #treetuesday, (ran by @old-guy-photos), we take a step back in time to when it was fall. The weather was warmer and we were walking around downtown admiring the sights. We ran across these beautiful trees. Does anyone know what they are?
My first thought is some type of willow because they look weepy but I'm just not sure.
The trees happen to sit next to an urban garden area called Growing Places Indy. They are a non-profit organization that seems to offer a lot toward teaching people how to grow food, eat better and take good care of themselves. I'm glad to see things like this in our city and I wanted to give them a little shout out.
This time last weeks #treetuesday we had a -30º F windchill factor. I am happy to report that our daytime temperature is more like 30º F now. While that is still cold, it's a 60º F improvment so I'll take it!
