Hubby and I decided to spend an afternoon of our vacation exploring this beautiful walking trail and we were not disappointed that we did.

We had already been out about that morning and were glad to see they had a picnic area with machines so we could buy water. I do believe we picked the hottest week of July to take our vacation.

Once hydrated and rested we headed down the trail to enjoy the nature that surrounded us. There was plenty of cute places to take a break on the trail and it sometimes ran along side a river. The sounds were so relaxing.

The red walking bridge was my favorite thing to see. They had restored it and I thought it was beautiful the way it's color popped against the green trees.

The trail was well maintained and easy to follow. We had it mostly to our selves that day but I suspect it was due to the heat.

It was just an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. I really wish I had a nice long trail like this close to our house. I could see us walking a place like this every evening.

There will be more vacation videos and blogs to come.
