#wednesdaywalk was created by tattoodjay@tattoodjay and you should pay him a visit.

Hubby and I recently visited McCormick's Creek State Park to see all of the fall colors and this stunning waterfall.

I wanted to get closer but that involved walking on wet rocks and I wanted me and the camera to stay dry.

The drive through the state park to get to the waterfall was gorgeous and full of fall colors.

The 1st set of stairs and the following path were equally beautiful.

Those last stairs wear a person out a bit but they are well worth the trip down. At least to the landing. If you go down to the bottom of the stairs, you have to walk across those rocks I told you about.

I also took the beauties above from that landing.

The last few photographs are from our continued walk through the state park. It was a beautiful way to spend part of an afternoon.
