I've seen these pictures before somewhere in the Tumblr world. It's cute but damn, it speaks volume.
I just visited the creator's website The Gentleman's Armchair. It has a lot of hilarious and very relatable posts about life in general. But so far, the shoot for the moon is the the rock that hit my head just today.
Drifting Aimlessly in a Friggin' Cubicle
Recently, I had a series of minor emotional breakdowns. Yep, I called it minor because when I had them, I was still working and functioning. But yeah, the only difference is I was crying to myself thinking about how exhausted I am despite the seemingly non-significant things that I do. You can perfectly picture this in your mind and maybe, you experienced this as well.
You may have felt that overwhelming stress that eats you. You may find yourself constantly asking Where should I earn that money? How many tasks piled up on my table? I'm underappreciated! There is so many laundry and dishes to wash! The bed is untidy! How can I fit my time to do all of this? Why is he acting like that? <Insert top 20 insecurites>
You may have suffered from overthinking that it leaves you weak and helpless. There's no one to turn to because they'll not understand or that it's awkward or that you're too empty and fragile to even ask for help. You constantly think that you're too late to accomplish your dreams as others are already realizing theirs. You're stuck paying your loans. You're stuck in a toxic relationship. You're stuck here on Earth.
Ever since, I want to shoot for the moon but here, I'm trapped in a friggin cubicle, drifting aimlessly through nothingness.
