Family is not an important thing. It's everything~ Michael J. Fox

Parenting is a big job. It isn’t enough that we tell our children we love them. We need to put our love into action every day for them to feel it. Mostly, it means making that connection with our child our highest priority.

My daughter & her cousin

When I have my baby for the first time, no words can describe how much I love her. I just remember feeling overwhelming love. I just wanted to stare and learn every feature of the baby and memorize the details. It was like instant happiness and joy and then the tears came.

Your life will change after you have your little member of the family. Even though when you didn't have enough rest & sleep after getting a child but seeing them growing up will make u feel happy and joy.

Now, my daughter is almost 3 years. What must I do to build our relationship?

1. PRAY

As a Christian, I do believe God will always protect.

Psalm 121:7-8 ~ the LORD will protect you from all harm, your life, & your coming & going now & forever.

As a mother, I taught my daughter to pray as young as 1 year to pray before eat & before go to sleep.

2. GET INTO THEIR SPACE

Kids spend a lot of time playing or laying on the floor. We should be down there, too. We can playing games, pretending with dolls, building block forts. Fight the feeling that we are acting stupid. It's good to enter our kid's world, but make sure that we are still the parent.

3.ENJOY FAMILY TIME

A simple way for me to connect with my daughter is eating together. As a working mom, I always plan a holiday trip every school break. Not only that, we will bring our daughter to play at Kids Zoona or playground.

4. DO PROJECT TOGETHER

I like to involve my daughter when I'm doing something, like bake a cake.

There is still more, but I only listed 4 ways to build relationships with our Child.
