Hello, beautiful ladies!
To the contest question, I'm a guy who likes luxurious things, I like spending on myself, and I like splendid buildings or luxury apartments, cars, and all of that. And my luxury lifestyle is one of the reasons my mum would be shouting at me all the time. One of the e most important things is that she advises me to save money and invest.
What is one “luxury” that you think is completely overrated?
It could be anything people see as a symbol of a comfortable or successful life — like a designer handbag, a huge house, expensive holidays, fancy restaurants, or even something much simpler. What’s something you wouldn’t spend your money on, even if you could afford it? And why?
I sat over this luxury lifestyle, and I realized it doesn't last; instead, it will bring disaster or lack of peace. And I started settling for something moderate. Before I used to like big houses. There was a time when I was in Lagos, and I rented an apartment that was so huge, and the money was so much,, but I didn't have peace of mind inside of me. There was no peace at all. I decided to give out to agents to market it for me and collect my money, which I did. And I later used the money to travel to Cameroon to learn more and add value to my life and I had peace of mind. From the experience I had, I wouldn't spend money on a big apartment that is bigger than me; instead, I can invest that money or send it to my parents to start life with it.
However, there is one way to live a luxury lifestyle, and there is another way to have peace of mind. Always listen to your inner spirit. Do you have peace of mind in what you are doing? That's the question you should ask yourself. I have learned from mistakes. I have found genuine peace where I am and I am in good health.
In fact, I like simple things now, my outfit is always a simple suit. I am a fashion designer, but I go for simple outfits, and I love them.
Then, I like portal cars not G wagon 😂. Being wealthy doesn't mean you should go for luxury for go for peace of mind and joy in heart and it will flow outside. There are wealthy people out there, who doesn't have peace of mind.
