Admire the way you handled it, bravo!
At the meantime, what the guy said is also not wrong that ass-kissing or sweet talks indeed goes a long way here, cannot deny that.
I have been here for more than a decade, and I am still confused why this seemingly full of potential social chain cannot go further (token price should only be a reflection of thriving). What you said is also true - we still have lots of developing going on and a somewhat solid albeit small community of real people, but, the point is, not many of these projects can bring Hive to another level like much bigger user base with higher retention rate or bring in external resources into this place. We don't even give Hivers enough good reasons to keep their HIVEs except a vague statement of 'increasing your influence'... The truth is, you can always use Hive and sell all you have earned from here with almost-zero punishment.
But as Hivers, we don't have the right to be pessimistic. So, keep building! 😉
