Drawing landscapes is pretty much the coolest type drawing according to me of course. The aerial atmosphere, the way perspective comes into play etc. One of the reasons I actually love landscape drawing is mainly because it allows me to explore different kinds of shading. Trees, buildings, roads etc have different kinds of shading you could use.
I personally make use of cross-hatching, hatching and blurring.
