Abandoned but not Forgotten

Today I take you to just north of DeLeon Springs, Florida to an abandoned Orange 🍊 packaging plant. This caught on fire and they never recovered from it.

This water tower and storage shed is actually off to the back of the property, but there is a clear view of it from the road.

This was the main office/ store area. It looks like it had doubled as a house for the owner. This is what looks to have caught on fire.

This is another angle of the front building / office / house.

This is the shed / storage buildings that are beside the water tower. One could possibly argue the larger building is a barn of some sort.

The Actual Factory

These next four photos are what is left of the actual factory / packaging area. This structure at one point did have panels and glass windows. This is where they had assembly lines and where the oranges were packaged.

At one point the panels did still say Bob's Oranges. They were deliberately removed for historical preservation.

To be honest I am not too sure what this building was used for, however it does stand off to the back right of the property. Maybe it is another office of sorts.
