We met on OkCupid, of all places. We weren't a perfect match (actually, we were 27% enemies), but we somehow hit it off. Apparently I messaged her first, and super late at night. I have no memory of this. Her first thought was that I just wanted to get my dick wet. Good thing she was wrong!
After about two weeks of talking, we finally meet in person at a local Five Guys. We meet, we hug, and she says "I'm sorry, I have to do this," and puts her fingers in my hair and shouts "GINGER!!!" She has a fetish for redheads and I was fully prepared to leverage that as best I could!
I proposed about 3 years later, and then had the nerve to prank her at the altar! I wrote about it in a comedy open mic submission a while back on Steem.
So yeah! Online dating does work. They just don't tell you about all the bad dates you have to sift through to find the right one.
