Hey everyone!

For the second post of my new series (Link to first post: https://steemit.com/steemmonsters/@ddominiclo/deck-building-on-a-budget-steem-monsters-13-cent-deck-20-mana-cap) I'm going to make a deck for euginejoseph@euginejoseph at his request on discord!

He has asked me to make a death deck with the cards above so I will make it.

Summoner: Zintar Mortalis

I chose Zintar as the summoner because he doesn't have Jarlax (I think Zintar is better anyways).

Tank: Lord of Darkness

It was a tough choice between LoD and Haunted spirit but i chose LoD because I've lost more games to an opponent with an LoD tank than a HS (Haunted Spirit) tank. His enrage ability allows him to deal lots of damage to the opposing tank and has increased survivability thanks to his 2 armor.

Damage Dealers:
Sneaks 1&2:
Skeleton Assassin:

Elven Cutthroat:

These two cards are here to:

  1. Deal damage (and hopefully kill) enemy back lines
  2. Protect the rest of your ranged team from 2 attacks (basically acting as meat shields at the end of the game)
    Ranged Attacker:
    Haunted Spider

Haunted Spider's 2 damage helps your LoD kill off the enemy tank so that you can sweep the rest of the enemy team.
    Snipe Card:
    Centaur

Centaur is basically just a fill.
    Pros:
Spreads damage across the entire board
    Cons:
    Centaur doesn't have a purpose
Centaur can get easily killed off by upgraded red double sneak

One variation of this deck would be:

  1. Haunted Spirit (Instead of LoD)
  2. Everything else in this deck
  3. Cocatrice
    Pros:
Cocatrice gives extra protection from sneak decks
    Cons:
Cocatrice won't be used much (unless the rng gods decide to bless you)

Another variation of this deck would be:

  1. Haunted Spirit (Instead of LoD)
  2. Everything else in this deck
  3. Cyclops (Instead of Centaur)
    Pros:
Back lines can be protected by the Cyclops
    Cons:
Won't be able to deal as much damage as with LoD
