Hello friends.

Let's go back to 1940. A young Forrest E. Mars, Sr., just returned home and established a new company in New Jersey. One year later, he produced a delicious chocolate treat known as the M&M. These treats were so popular that imitators started to copy their style. In the 1950s, to combat the rise of counterfeit candies, the company started to stamp the letter "M" on all their candies. It was at this point that M & M was born.

M&M's later went on to produce the iconic peanut chocolate-covered candy, Starburst candies, and other delicious treats. In the 1980s, it was even the first candy ever in space! Later in the 1990s, the rainbow of colors was introduced, with over 21 colors and shades of this candy in production, and made for enjoyment.

October 13th is the official National M&M day (Reference HERE). For over 75 years, these chocolate treats have been everywhere around the globe and in space. Most of us have had these treats at some point in our lives, and we probably have a preference as to which color we like better (#REDIsTheBest). And ... that brings us to this week's challenge.
