Do you know what the Holi festival is? No problem if you dont, as we are going to talk about it! This popular Hindu festival dates back many many years. It is known as the "festival of colors" or " the festival of spring". While it is mostly celebrated in India, this very colorful tradition is spreading around the globe as a unique and exciting way to express the joy of spring.

Holi celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, and for many it's a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.

Most times this festival takes the shape of revellers tossing colorful bags of multicolored chalk in the air and, at each other. This explosion of color makes for epic photos, an extraordinarily fun time. Also surprise, surprise, the date of this festival is this up coming Sunday and Monday.

Why did we go on a tirade about this fun festival? Well we think making some colorful posts in celebration would be a fun Monday challenge!
