Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by 
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 60k Hive.
Last week I made or bought (mostly bought) 1555.67, bringing me to 53549.28 total Hive Power. That’s 89.2% of my goal!
1000 of that came today for what I thought was HPUD. I know, I know. Hey, I write these in the morning. Sometimes I don’t even know what year it is until after lunch. I’ll still do HPUD tomorrow, but probably for less than 1000.
Still not quite Orca level yet. I think that’s a bit past 55k now. But getting close!
Math time. 60k - 53549.28 gives us 6450.72. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 35.1 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point.
Last week that number was 41.4. Finally a big improvement! All it took was a few hundred dollars into HIVE. Unfortunately, my organic growth has gone down. I guess the low price of HIVE just has everyone depressed and means even less activity than usual. The number of votes I get and the payout I get are both down quite a lot. Oh well. My gamble is that Hive does eventually recover and I’m putting my money where my mouth is. We shall see if that is a smart or stupid move.
At any rate, my goal is now within reach. Does that mean my stretch goal, which was 65k is in play? Actually I might have been really ambitious and made 70k my stretch goal. I forget. I’ll have to go back to the post I made this past New Years to see for sure.

Second Layer Tokens
I didn’t make many moves on the second layer this past week. None, in fact, that I can think of off hand.
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
A nice bump towards the end of the week. Too bad it settled back down and closed almost exactly the same as it had opened on Monday.
Here is a good looking coin that I came across today:
It’s called “2025 1 oz Shield The Eye Silver Round (BU)”. I suppose they are going for a lizard eye? Kind of reminds me of a line from Jaws.
The thing about a shark, it’s got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll’s eyes. When it comes at you it doesn’t seem to be livin’… until he bites you, and those black eyes roll over white.
