Went for a photowalk, and what did I find? More Mejiro!

Looks like he was contemplating dinner, eh? When you are surrounded by so many delicious looking blossoms, where do you even start? A good problem to have!

If you missed my previous posts on these little guys, they are called Japanese White-Eyes (メジロ, mejiro). They are a small bird and very quick, darting here and there. Touch to get photos of, but I've been practicing at it for many years, so I've gotten at least a little decent at catching them.

The flowers are the kawazu cherry blossoms (河津桜, kawazu-zakura). Pinker and slightly larger than the more popular yoshino cherry blossoms (染井吉野, someiyoshino), they bloom around the start of March and last a few weeks, unless the rain or wind takes them down early, which luckily hasn't happened this year yet.
