Welcome to my blog
In these days of Holy Week I took advantage that my husband had days off to visit our grandson Gael to the city of Maturin, so these Thursday and Friday I was in this great city, as I have the habit of going on Good Fridays to visit the temples I did not hesitate to go to visit the temples of this great city, although my main goal was to re-enter the Cathedral of Our Lady of Carmen, since this church in my last visit I lived a unique experience.
I have been doing this tradition for years during Holy Week, I really enjoy doing it and if I am with my family even more. Visiting the temples during Holy Week is done from the night of Holy Thursday and the morning of Good Friday. Making these visits is a unique experience, since it symbolizes the sense of spiritually accompanying our Lord Jesus in the 7 stages he made to all the places he went through since he was captured until his crucifixion and these visits are made as a way of reflection.
The visit to each church has great significance.
The first church reminds us of the journey Jesus made from the Cenacle to the garden, where the last supper with his disciples took place.
The second church comes to remember and meditate on the moment in which Jesus passes from the garden where he is captured to the house of Annas.
The third church we meditate the way Jesus went to the house of Caiaphas, where he was interrogated.
The fourth church, the meditation, is centered on the first appearance of Jesus before the Roman governor Pontius Pilate.
The fifth church, the meditation, is centered on the moment in which Jesus Christ was brought before Herod.
The sixth church, the meditation, is centered on the second appearance of Jesus before the Roman governor Pontius Pilate.
The seventh church where we meditate on Jesus' journey from the house of the Roman governor to Mount Calvary, where he will be crucified.
That is why when I make this visit I feel that I am traveling and accompanying on this hard road the path that our savior lived. So this visit fills me with blessings and spiritual fruitfulness, because that is how I feel and live it.
Bienvenidos a mi blog
