Good day steemians, happy sunday to you all. Today i will be writing on a very disturbing and critical topic ; Partiality. Before going into this topic i will quickly define partiality.
Partiality simply means being unfair, bias or in favour of one person or something.
If you ask me i will say partiality is common in our society today and most of the times the poor are the ones always affected. Most people in the society or in an organisation would prefer to please a rich man than a poor man despite the fact we all have the same rights to all things, but because of what they will eat or the little change they will collect they will rather be unfair to a poor man and be fair to someone who is rich.
Deep thoughts
Sometimes i ask myself, where are we going to in this country ? and even the whole world at large because it happens everywhere favoritism For example a rich man wants to position his son in a company and also a poor man wants to do the same ,If you check based on qualification most times you will see that a poor man's child performs excellent compared to a rich man's son. And so the both parents walks into the organisation you should trust we humans we must have accessed their worth already and this simple act will determine how they will both be welcomed and treated. Starting from even the lower employees like the gate man when he sees a fine car he begins to jump and directs when it is not even needed , but then when a poor man drives in they won't even leave that position not to talk of directing the car. And so after meeting with the person in charge of accepting new workers you should be sure that the rich man's son will get the job and then the poor man goes with nothing. That is why they say:
The rich will keep on getting rich and the poor the same.
You claim you are a rich man and then you cannot think of what to do with your money so that you will be able to create job opportunities to the youths out there without jobs, instead you still struggle with the little a poor man is able to access.

James teaching on partiality
James was particularly addressing the issue of showing partiality to the rich and shunning the poor,He said “But if you are partial, you have sinned" Because God commanded us to love one another and then when we are not impartial we tend to care less for someone we have disobeyed the commandment .It is so sad that today in our churches partiality has taken over , some people are being treated differently from others because of this same discrimination between the rich and the poor. When the church is still practicing this unholy act what then will the people in the society do? So James’ teaching here is relevant for our times.

In conclusion
We should all learn to treat everyone the same way, you never know what or who that person will be tomorrow, because nobody knows tomorrow. Forget about the little things you get for being partial ,all **those things don't last.Be impartial.
