After a lot of high value blogs passing me about whaleshares and bitshares, and the help available to minnows through buying tokens. I set up a bitshares - I set up a user name and password and left it for a few days, now today i try to log in and i get a blocked screen saying the following ..... Failed to sync with the API server

.........................................................................It makes no sense to me and i have wasted a lot of time trying to find a way into my bitshares account. Of course i realize that it is my lack of technical knowledge that is causing the problem, and i accept that.
But i will post this in the hope someone can help me either delete my original user name(dd22rck1962) or find a way to access it?
