Siempre que se trate de abejas, all铆 estar茅. Aprovecho mi participaci贸n al concurso para mostrarles c贸mo decoro las cajas que uso para mis colmenas; justo tengo pendiente hacer particiones que den lugar a nuevas colonias y necesito cajas decoradas. El tema de este mes me ha venido como anillo al dedo, as铆 que con muchos m谩s motivos para comenzar pongo manos a la obra.

Whenever it is about bees, I will be there. I take advantage of my participation in the contest to show you how I decorate the boxes I use for my hives; I have just pending to make partitions that give rise to new colonies and I need decorated boxes. This month's theme has come to me like a glove, so with many more reasons to start, I'm getting down to work.

- Las cajas ya est谩n previamente hechas y pintadas, como las construimos nosotros mismos con maderas recicladas, suelen ser bien r煤sticas. Priorizo darle alg煤n tratamiento de pintura o barniz para que se conserven mejor. Se puede usar cualquier tipo de pigmento ya que se pinta solo por fuera y no afecta su equilibrio interno隆Eso s铆!Debe estar bien seco a la hora de introducirlas.
- I have them previously made and painted, as we build them ourselves with recycled wood, they are usually very rustic. I prioritize giving them some kind of paint or varnish treatment so that they are better preserved. Any type of pigment can be used since it is painted only on the outside and does not affect its ecosystem. It must be very dry at the time of introducing them.
- En una cartulina, dibujo varios dise帽os de alas pensando en que me puedan servir para hacer mariposas y abejas; las recorto y me quedan los moldes para marcar posteriormente.
- On a cardboard, I draw several designs of wings thinking that I can use them to make butterflies and bees; I cut them out and have the molds to mark them later.
- Con los moldes voy marcando las alas hasta rellenar el espacio. Me gusta que quede la figura completa dentro de una misma divisi贸n de madera, as铆 si alg煤n d铆a las separo no se incompleta ning煤n dise帽o.
- With the molds I mark the wings until the space is filled. I like to keep the whole figure inside the same wooden division, so that if I separate them someday, no design will be incomplete.
Una vez marcados todos los espacios comienzo a dar color. Uso los acr铆licos aleatoriamente para hacer contrastar las alas. Mi objetivo es tener un acabado vivaz y sin complicaci贸n en su composici贸n.
Las cajas, una vez que tengan a las abejas dentro, suelen llenarse de residuos de prop贸leos y barro, por lo que un dibujo opaco no resaltar铆a lo suficiente. Adem谩s ellas estar铆an en una arboleda y a lo lejos no se ven los detalles, sin embargo estos colores crear铆an un entorno a煤n m谩s bonito.
- Once all the spaces are marked I begin to color. I use the acrylics randomly to contrast the wings. My goal is to have a lively and uncomplicated finish to the composition.
- The boxes, once they have the bees inside, are usually filled with propolis residues and mud, so an opaque drawing would not stand out enough. Also they would be in a grove of trees and from a distance you can't see the details, however these colors would create an even more beautiful environment.
- Estos dise帽os me encantan, son muy creativos. Solo tengo bordes para no salirme demasiado. Una vez dados los colores bases de las alas voy creando figuras a mi antojo para rellenarlas con tonos contrastantes.
- I love these designs, they are very creative. I only have borders so I don't go too far out. Once the base colors of the wings are given I create figures at will to fill them with contrasting tones.
- Ya tengo creadas todas las mariposas, en cada cara de las cajas hay un sinf铆n de bichitos coloridos, solo me resta agregarles algunos detalles. Con un pincel bien fino voy delineando en negro las alas y sus divisiones, esto hace que resalte mucho m谩s.
- I have already created all the butterflies, on each side of the boxes there are countless colorful bugs, I just need to add some details. With a fine brush I outline in black the wings and their divisions, this makes them stand out much more.
- Por 煤ltimo con acr铆lico dorado les agrego algunos puntitos que al darle el sol cobren vida.
- Finally, with golden acrylic, some little dots that come to life when the sun shines on them.
