Today, I’m sharing a new piece from this impressive alphabet: “The Pokémon Unown corresponding to the letter I”, in the form of a decorative quilling artwork.

Mis seguidores han podido observar, que hace unos meses comencé una colección de Pokémon Unown, les mencione que cada uno ellos demarcan una letra del alfabeto y algunos símbolos, como tambien que están inspirados en signos antiguos y en la idea que el lenguaje tiene poder.
Para hoy les dejo una nueva figura de este impresionante alfabeto "El Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra I", en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.
Les dejo está imagen para que se hagan una idea de todos los distintos Pokémon Unown existentes y así le podrán hacer seguimiento al que voy elaborando y que tan semejante es:

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Cartulinas.
• Tapa plástica redonda.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
- Ribbons for quilling.

- Extra strong white glue (carpentry glue).

- Scissors.
• As with all my posts, I started by creating the base shape, which is the figure’s body. All Pokémon Unown share this same base, which is then adapted into different shapes and styles. Here’s a link to the first one I made so you can see the step-by-step process—I don’t see the point in repeating it in every post: Pokémon Unown “A”.
• Next, I sketched the Pokémon Unown letter “I”—which I planned to create at its original size—on a sheet of white paper using a pencil, then carefully cut it out with scissors.
• I took some black quilling tape that was 3 mm wide and made several folds, applying extra-strong white glue to each fold to create a sturdier, thicker strip. I let it dry thoroughly.
• Comencé como en todos los post realizando la figura base la cual es el cuerpo de la figura, todos los Pokémon Unown tiene esta misma base para seguir con formas y estilos diferentes. Les dejo el link del primero que hice para que vean el paso a paso, no le veo sentido repetirlo en todos los post, Pokémon Unown "A".
• Luego continue realizando con un lapiz en una hoja de papel blanca un boceto, del Pokemón Unown letra I que pienso a elaborar en su tamaño original, recorte con mucho cuidado con una tijera.
• Tomé cinta para quilling de color negro de 3 mm de ancho, hice varios dobleces aplicando pega blanca extra fuerte en cada dobles, esto para hacer una tira más firme y gruesa, deje secar muy bien.

• With the pieces ready, I assembled them using the sketch I had made.
• To finish and protect my Pokémon—as well as to laminate, harden, and add shine—I applied several layers of extra-strong white glue, letting each layer dry before applying the next.
This is how I finished this Unown Pokémon, which corresponds to the letter “I” of the alphabet, in the form of a decorative quilling figure.
• Una vez seca la tira gruesa recorte en dos partes, a su vez con una tijera redondee los bordes.
• Listas las piezas procedí a ensamblarlas con ayuda del boceto que realicé.
• Para finalizar y proteger, plastificar, endurecer y darle brillo a mi Pokémon, apliqué varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte, dejando secar entre una capa y otra.
De esta manera finalice este Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra "I" del alfabeto, en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.
