Today, I am continuing with this series of beautiful Christmas pendants. Here is a decorative, multipurpose pendant featuring a 2D poinsettia made using the quilling technique.

Para hoy continúo realizando esta serie de bonitos colgantes navideños, les dejo un colgante decorativo multiuso de una flor de navidad en 2D en la técnica de quilling.

• I started by taking 3mm dark green quilling tape and using the needle to roll up the entire tape until I reached the end. I removed it from the needle, loosened it a little, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue to make an open circle. We will need 10 identical circles.

• I shaped the 10 circles into leaves, then took them in groups of two and joined them in the middle with extra-strong white glue. I took some 3mm-wide green tape in a lighter shade and wrapped it around these two joined pieces to form a single leaf. These will be the leaves of the flower.

• Comencé tomando cinta para quilling de color verde oscuro de 3mm, con la aguja procedí enrollar toda la cinta hasta llegar al final de la misma, saque de la aguja solté un poco, selle con pega blanca extra fuerte para conseguir un círculo abierto. Vamos a necesitar 10 círculos iguales.

• Moldee los 10 círculos en forma de hojas, luego fui tomando en grupos de 2 los uní en el medio con pega blanca extra fuerte, tomé cinta de 3 mm de ancho Verde de una tonalidad más clara, y la pasé alrededor de estas dos piezas unidas para formar una sola hoja. Estas serán las hojas de la flor.

• Para realizar los pétalos de la flor tome cinta de color rojo claro y rojo oscuro, Uni dos trozos para formar una sola cinta, enrollé con la aguja bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores realizando un círculo abierto, comencé a enrollar comenzando por la cinta roja clara y terminé por la oscura. Necesitaremos cinco círculos abiertos iguales.

• Let's join the leaves and petals to form this beautiful double flower. We will glue the leaves in groups of three and two, and then join them together. We will do the same with the red petals.

• Glue the red flower on top of the green leaves.

• To decorate, glue three silver-colored metallic pearls in the center of the flower.

• To protect the flower, I applied several layers of extra-strong white glue, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. This laminates the flower and makes it more durable.

You can attach the pendant of your choice, or if you want to use it to decorate your Christmas tree, you can attach a piece of clear nylon or thread in the color of your choice. In my case, I used nylon.

This is how I finished this decorative 2D Christmas flower pendant using the quilling technique.

• Vamos a unir las hojas y los pétalos para formar esta bonita flor doble, pegaremos las hojas en grupo de tres otro de dos y luego uniremos, así mismo haremos con los pétalos rojos.

• Pegamos la flor roja encima de las hojas verdes.

• Para decorar pegué en la parte central de la flor tres perlas metalizadas de color plateado.

• Para proteger la flor apliqué varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte, dejando secar entre una capa y otra esto para plastificar y darle dureza a la flor.

Podemos colocar el colgante de nuestra preferencia, o si queremos usarlo para decorar el árbol de navidad, podemos colocarle un trozo de naylon transparente o hilo del color que deseen, en mi caso le coloque naylon.

De esta manera finalice este colgante Decorativo de una flor navideña en 2D, en la técnica de quilling.
