While out and about today, I spotted these nice bunches of snow drops. It won't be long before we see the lovely primroses. I live those wild plants with their delicate yellow/green flowers. Always a great

We had a nice opportunity for a walk today, just down to the nearest area of green grass which is actually a cricket ground. Of course, there is not much going on this time of year but it is a handy short

It hasn't been a hugely active day. We took a trip to a store called The Range. A great place to get just about anything you want. It reminds me of the old Woolworth stores of old. Yes, I am old enough

There was a brief window of good sunny weather yesterday. However, this morning a cold weather front passed over us producing a lot of rain. A cold front means the air temperature behind it will be colder,

We finally had the opportunity to view the interia of Guildford cathedral. It was my first visit of this impressive building. First impressions were that it was so big! It was difficult to get a picture

While in Guildford today, I had some time to take a short walk. I ventured into some woodland adjacent to the research park but it was hard going after the rain which made the ground too wet for the footware

I have passed by Guildford cathedral many times recently, each time saying to myself and my wife, we must visit this magnificent building sometime. Well today was an opportunity to do that but we only

😂 When I left home for my cycle ride it was dry but that didn't last very long! Rain showers soon developed and in the end I just decided to give up trying to stay clean and dry. Faced with floods like

If we can't find sunshine outside, we can bring some spring sunshine inside instead! 🤣 These daffodils are splendid. We bought them yesterday as a bunch of closed buds. After dropping them into some water

Spring is still simmering in lots of places if you look close enough. It wont be now until we see a burst of activity. Probably by mid month I reckon. I still think we will get a very dry April this year

The deluge continues apace! This is becoming ridiculous! I cant remember ever in my lifetime when we have had such a long period of rain nearly every day and for most of this winter so far. I remember

A few steps a day go a long way! It doesn't matter how far you go, rather the fresh air and to stretch the legs a bit. That works wonders on the mind as well as the body. Of late it has been difficult

I found some crocuses at last! I hve seen others while in the car driving places but today I got my chance to actually take a photo of some nice small yellowish white ones. These are quite small compared

The weather blocking anti-cyclone remains in place over the near continent, which unfortunately for the UK means more rain! So thats what we got again. I suppose it is better than having sub zero freezing

After an early start this morning we delayed having breakfast until after we had completed our business. We decided to go to a place called Tulleys Farm. This, as the name suggests, is a modern version

Guildford is a town in southern England with a long hostory. It has a cathedral as well so I assume it can be classed as a city. The cathedral is some distance from the town centre so that could be the

It's time to continue my spring watch. A walk around the grounds of Guildford Hospital every two weeks. Not a lot has changed since I last came but a few things are evident. There are a few small shrubs

It has been another dry day. Cloudy, and chilly, but at least we had a break from the wet stuff. That all changes again tomorrow though with yet another weather system heading our way. I will be getting

My last exercise of the day was at night! 😄. On my way back from a nice evening watching Newcastle United draw 1:1 with PSG. 🤣 I have to admit this was not at the PSG ground! But at a family home. 😂😂😂.

After yet another deluge of rain overnight and into this morning, the roads were bad again. Luckily, I did not have to do any driving until the rain had stopped this afternoon. 😄 On the afternoon walk
