I did dabble in wine making for a few years but after moving home many, many times I have not continued with it. It takes great patience and cleanliness but with practice you can get good at it. π·

RE: How about a brisbane? My Actifit Report Card: June 8 2026
We have so many of these garden centres here in the uk. They are very popular indeed. A lot of them have tea rooms too. !ALIVE

It's an interesting thought, but the journey (and the jetlag) puts me off! π«

Thanks, I always feel a little uncomfortable when not achieving the 5k steps but it happens sometimes π€·. Ah slugs, yes, they can be a real problem in some areas. They always seem to go for our best plants

Most of yesterday's steps were unfortunately a result of walking around shops and hospital corridors. π«. At least it was out of the rain! βοΈ

The rain was really quite heavy when we walked to the car park. A good trip out though all the same. !ALIVE

The cooler morning was really refreshing. A nice break from the heat. We are lucky to have such a varied climate. We sometimes moan a bit about it but it is far better than months of energy draining heat.

RE: Only two cygnets remain now : My Actifit Report Card: May 30 2026
There's nothing like getting out there to see for yourself. I almost ran over a grass snake on a recent cycle ride. An amazing sight until it slithered into the undergrowth. !ALIVE

We broke our May temperature record twice in recent days at 35Β°C. Not absolutely sure but I think that is close to 100Β° F.
