On a very warm morning, conditions were so nice, I took a walk in Goffs Park. As can be seen by my photos the ground is so dry now, all the grass is brown!
I took the photo above from a similar spot in early June. I will add it below. The grass was lush and very green then before all the heatwaves.
At the lake I could see dozens of large fish at the surface gasping for air. The conditions are really uncomfortable for fish right now. Such a shame!
The UK weather is split (this is a common thing), with northern and western regions having rain, but southern and eastern regions having a heatwave. Eventually this will change and I suspect that once the jetstream shifts south we will get a deluge!
As I was heading out of the park I spotted a curious thing. Dozens of crows were surrounding a person sitting on the grass. She was very still and appeared in a meditative state. The birds were just settled there not moving either. A very odd sight indeed. As I passed by nothing moved at all! 馃槷
