It's official, today was the hottest June day in the UK since records began. The record was broken several times over the day across the country with the highest recorded temperature of 36.1掳C in a town called Gosport. It did indeed feel very hot as I was out in Guildford again.
The heatwave is set to continue over the weekend and then cooler conditions will be spreading from the west. This will be very welcome indeed because we in the UK are not accustomed to this 馃榾. It may seem normal to some people around the world. Bring on the rain and wind again 馃槀.
