There are many features around our town that seem out of place. Usually originating from a time gone by, they stick out like a sore thumb sometimes. Like this ornate balustrade. It looks ok but doesn't fit the location because the original matching building has long been demolished to make way for a block of flats! Yes, you heard that right! 馃槅
Another slow day, but we eventually got out to the local store on this 80th VE day remembrance. When we returned, we watched the proceedings on the TV for most of the rest of the afternoon! 馃ぃ
