Festival of Light : My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2025
This evening, we attended a festival of light display in the town Memorial Gardens. It was cold, but the displays were good, and the grandchildren loved it!
There was a small band of drummers performing as well, but I couldn't get a decent photo of them, unfortunately due to the crowds. The grass areas were far too wet to take any footfall, so everyone was on the paths that were rather overcrowded.
It was a nice change to see this display. These things take a lot of planning by many people to get something like this organised. There were also stalls selling all kinds of gadgets with lights of all colours.
Here are some more pictures taken just before dark. We got there early before the crowds, which was nice to walk around the whole display easier.
