Y yo reaccioné y me dije: "¡Madre mía!"
Tu fe será puesta a prueba. No te apures.

Sometimes one is going to start writing about a topic and suddenly there is no way to enter, as if there was no point showing to enter the skein of ideas. Other times it happens the other way around: you think about the topic and signals from many edges begin to push to the surface through which to approach the ship of ideas.
These days I have had the intention of writing something that has to do with everyday life, with the lurking reality, but taking great care not to fall into the trap of catharsis, that common place where hysteria, discontent, apathy and other types of low frequency energies find fertile ground to express themselves. I let some pressure drain a little energy, because as someone I know here says: if the engine doesn't at least smoke, it will burst.
Come on, Buddha, Muhammad, Jesus and all the great enlightened ones also had their moments of emotional escape and not precisely from balance and parsimony, although these things were plenty for them.
In short, although apparently all the conditions for an "outward combat" are in place, there are reminiscences in me. of a conscious journey that alerts me and stops me—without reaching repression—from giving in to something that I already know is produced by something in me. But I recognize that many times I am on the limit.
I think it is better to follow the example of the Argentine singer Fito Páez when he said: "The world is crazy, stop, I'm going to get off."
I do everything possible to keep all the ancient knowledge awake. Have ready all the esoteric methods and techniques of the West, East, Middle East, the Andes and the Amazon. I review mantras, mudras, runes, spells and prayers, etc. Everything, everything so as not to give in to a question as simple as my own thoughts.
The artillery of problems is dropping the rockets very close and, as a human, I check the fortresses from time to time and tap each sentry on the shoulder so that they keep me informed of the opponent's stratagems and advances, especially within the wall.
Honestly, these days I have drunk I don't know how many glasses of water, of which I ritually have poured or emptied half to feel that something breaks for good inside me. But I run the risk of going through dropsy or water poisoning because what is dense remains dense, and the reserves of what is subtle seem to begin to diminish at any moment.
A friend from the capital, who has just started in the art of cooking with charcoal, asked me for a little advice and at that moment I was trying to light the one I had on the stove I invented myself with the cauldron of an incredible pot, and the dramatic verses of the master poet came to mind Raúl Ferrer when he wrote: "It hurts me because a past full of melancholy stretched the sheets over an unlit stove."
That one-tenth stanza was written in the so-called mediatized Pseudo Republic, and looking at the surrounding reality, it has a chilling validity. Those who do not know the background and are told as it is, assure you that it was made for this moment.
I have another acquaintance who, in circumstances like this, always says: "Do we run or hide?", in clear allusion to the fact that there are only two alternatives: either you face the lion and defeat it, or you allow yourself to be devoured by the lion and you perish.
On the perimeter fence of my house, I have a sculpture on the south side that represents the myth of the snake and the toad, and incredibly, an acquaintance who approached me on the street to tell me about a personal event told me: "You know! I always remember the sculpture of the snake and the toad that you have in your house. It has helped me a lot to get out of some problems." And I reacted and said to myself: "My God!"
It is also true that no sailor graduated with calm seas. Until then all the manuals are useful. Just as it is not true that the map is the terrain. All manuals serve as far as theory goes. For this reason, sometimes we avoid saying that calling the Devil is not the same as seeing him appear.
The interesting thing is when the ship is in danger of capsizing and all eyes go towards the captain... And where is the captain looking?
It is very nice when one reads and becomes saturated with all that ancestral wisdom, until you discover that it has only served to satisfy the ego's appetite for wisdom. Because, as Karl Marx said: theory is gray, only practice is eternally green.
I also remember, especially when the storm rages, that story that ultimately defines that peace is being calm in a storm. Your faith will be tested. Don't worry.
That's why, right now, waking up from the fact that the toad's slime circles were taking me prisoner, I say as the handsome ones say in their prison jargon: let the beast come, I'm waiting for it. And as Silvio also said in one of his magnificent songs: the city is collapsing and I'm singing!
So, cheer up, guys. And if you saw that I put one knee on the ground, it was to push the other towards the path.
Thank you for accompanying me.
