Such is the difficulty of the journey of a person who wants wushul to Allah. Therefore, the scholars reminded that someone who wants to come to Allah must look for a murshid, a murshid is someone who has perfect faith and is able to perfect the faith of his student. The position of a murshid on the way to wushul is absolutely necessary for a salikk so that on his way he is not deceived and deceived by the seductions of Satan and lust. everyone can attain wushul but there is a barrier which causes one to strive to get rid of it so that there is no longer any barrier between him and Allah.
A person who wants wushul to Allah must pay attention to the two things above in order to arrive at the final goal, namely wushul ilallah. food has a very important role for human life. Just imagine if without food, humans and living things in general would not be able to survive. yes, life and death are indeed God who gives and determines, but what we need to remember is that Allah always creates the means and wasilah. The result of our life is by eating the food that God has provided for us in the world.
The food that enters the stomach will be processed by the body so that it will turn into meat, blood and other juices needed by the body. Given that the body's support comes from food, it is important to pay attention and be selective to the various foods that enter the body. more than that, the worship performed by that person will not be accepted by Allah SWT as the information in the book "Sulam al-Taufiq" is related to the conditions for receiving prayer which includes food that comes from something halal. it is clear from here that if the worship of a person who eats haram alone cannot be accepted by Allah, then how can he reach wushul to Allah?
The second thing that prevents a person from reaching wushul ilallah is hurting other creatures of Allah. From this information we can conclude what the true personality of a Sufi is. a Sufi is a person who always protects other rights. He will not do things that can hurt other people. The creatures here are not only humans but all God's creatures on earth to animals and plants, a Sufi must be able to incarnate as a blessing for all nature like Allah's caliph on earth.
